In the not too distant future, Lugar (Joe Lara "Hologram Man", "Walking Timebomb"), a tough earth cop, is away on a lunar vacation with his exotic wife, Sandra, when an invasion takes place at the Project Equinox government facility back on Earth.

Aton, who is working for Mafia kingpin Torman (Martin Kove, "Karate Kid", "Project Shadowchaser"), steals a mysterious alien artifact from the heavily guarded government compound. A bloodbath ensues.

Central Intelligence Commander Dreg (Wolf Muser, 1 series regular on "Santa Barbara" and "General Hospital"), is brought on to get the artifact back in a multi-million dollar swap with Torman and Aton. Unfortunately, Dreg's agent, Nell, is killed when Torman and Aton realize Dreg's marked the money. Nell washes up dead in a cement wash.

Dreg hires Lugar, the man responsible for busting Torman once already, to help him bring Torman down for good.

Shilow (David Warner, "The Omen" and "Time Bandits"), a former scientist on Project Equinox, comes to Lugar with a grave warning about the artifact. He warns him that the artifact is actually a "Regenerator" that has the power to replace every living thing on earth with new vegetation. Unfortunately, existing life forms will not survive the final transformation.

Oreg, operating far outside the law, implants a tracking monitor into Lugar's head and tells him that he must get to the artifact at all cost. He kidnaps and holds Sandra for extra insurance.

All is tense when Lugar meets with Aton and Torman to make the final swap. They're about to complete the transaction when Shilow steals the artifact. Dreg, Torman and Lugar are all fighting against time and each other to regain the artifact from Shilow, but they may be too late for themselves and for mankind.
