Las Vegas, Nevada - Sin City - fastest growing
urban area in the United States. In recent years the city has been
taken over by the corporate world with a multitude of corporations
buying out once privately owned hotels and casinos. The invasions of
corporate America has given Las Vegas a sense of legitimacy but people
tend to forget one major thing ..... Who's running the corporations?
Roy Murcant (Nick Mancuso) a self made millionaire, has grown with Las
Vegas and knows how to get things done, in the sizzling Sin City. His
ruthless and calculated actions have made him king of the strip, but
even his smooth attitude can't hide his sagging profits. His creditor
banks are extremely nervous that Murcant has been embezzling funds and
when his main bookkeeper is found dead suspicion mounts. It seems there
may be a second set of books - Murant's private accountings and they're
missing. Enter Detective Jack Newland (Louis Mandylor) newly relocated
from Florida after a department wide drug and bribery scandal. Jack is
licking his wounds after barely escaping prosecution in Florida.
Las Vegas is his last chance in law enforcement and he's about to walk
into the most dangerous case of his career.
Murcunt's books, worth millions in the wrong hands, contain information
about pay-offs and bribes involving casino owners, politicians and the
police department. Everyone it seems has something to gain from the
books. Some want the status quo others dream of Murcant and his cronies
going down in flames.Jack now is torn between two opposite and viscious
forces.Corruption reigns supreme and even Jack himself is not sure
