JUDGE REINHOLD

John McNamara (Michael Rooker) is a reporter for the sensationalistic
Metro Examiner Newspaper. His arrogant and reckless reporting has
recently gotten him into a lot of heat and may soon cost him, his job.
John is on his last legs with the paper when fellow reporter, Daryl
Freed, turns up missing. John begins investigating and soon finds
himself in a story that could destroy his relationship with his father,
Judge Patrick McNamara (Robert Culp), and the careers of politicians
citywide.
With the help of his spunky photographer London (Noelle Parker) John
looks into major corruption in earthquake reconstruction. The focus is
on CCU and its slick president, Jake McCullum (Judge Reinhold).
Recently retired Judge McNamara, is a legal giant with an impeccable
reputation. But John questions that reputation when he discovers that
the Judge has sided with the CCU in legal cases over the years.
Now with the help of a rival reporter Linda Callaway (Kelly Miller)
John and London are going to start digging up dirt.
It isn't long until they find a jewel in the rough, a whistle blower,
Frances Johnson (Kim Darby).
Armed with this information they are convinced they can take down CCU
and expose city wide corruption. Unfortunately they completely
underestimate Jake McCullum. He is not afraid to take out a couple of
meddling reporters.
John, Linda and London are now not only going to have trouble getting
their story into tomorrow’s headline, they may not see tomorrow...
In the fast paced media world, truth
doesn't always matter, and the wrong story can kill.
