Please do not call the audition space they do not have any information regarding the audition. Please do not email as we are not set up to respond to questions or rescheduling. If you have questions please show up to the audition. Sides will also be available at the audition.
Please have your monologue memorized and be prepared for corrections. If you're not sure which role you are reading for choose just one.

Story Line: Four sisters have divorced in the last year. They find out secrets about their ex-husbands and themselves that will change their views of each other and relationships forever.

Laura - Lead / FEMALE / 30 TO 35
Laura is the oldest sister, a sophisticated hyper organized attorney.

Laura:
He was looking through my texts and there it was a flirt, that’s all it was. Well okay it was more than a flirt it was pretty racy. It was one of those what happens in Vegas, you know. So he filed. Just quietly without a word he went and filed. No counseling discussion nothing.

Stephanie - Lead / FEMALE / 25 TO 30
Stephanie is the homemaker, very feminine , with a strong quiet spirit.

Stephanie:
I know that it will work out for me. In the long run. Fate has what it has in store for you and that’s that. You think you’re in control but you’re really not. So I try to remember what is important friendships and family and move on.

Jennifer - Lead / FEMALE / 20 TO 25
Jennifer is the wild child. She is a party animal, dealing with her various addictions.

Jennifer:
They say I’m in slow motion suicide. I don’t agree with that. I just don’t much care for this reality its too dry and boring. I like the feeling when I have something to take the edge off, you know. It just feels better, if everyone can’t hang with that well that’s societies problem.

Karena - Lead / FEMALE / 18 TO 22
Karena is the baby and the most conservative of the sisters. She is self righteous opinionated and arrogant.    

Karena:
Its outrageous how people just live in this expectation. I find it rude people showing up expecting everyone else to listen to their crap and dealing with their crap. I’m like take care of it on your own, clean up your own mess. I don’t have time for their crap! You know.

Sophia - Lead / FEMALE / 25 TO 30 / Latin
Sophia is Laura and Stephanie's college friend she is latin and has a stable marriage.

Sophia:
My parents are still married and my grandparents were married over 55 years. I don’t see the problem here, "till death do you part" That’s what it says you got to make it work you know. And you got to make your man keep a promise and you got to keep your promise. Its not easy but people do it.
