Angela Robins (Elizabeth J. Martin) and her husband John (Eric Adam Wittgren) have everything an aspiring couple could want—success, luxury. But everything they have is about to be taken away from them—by those closest to them.

hold a dinner party for their neighbors and close friends. John is a corporate attorney and his neighbor Chuck Simms is one of his partners. They’re trying to have a baby. The night after the party someone stabs John to death in the kitchen. Angela finds the body, grabs the knife, and in her panic carelessly gets John’s blood on her. Her neighbor Petra comes by the house, sees this spectacle, and Angela is immediately put under suspicion.

Detective Ashcroft questions Angela. Her attorney, neighbor-friend, Hank Orloff (XXX)tells her to not talk. Ashcroft becomes enraged. Angela is charged with murder, but is soon released on bail.

Ashcroft next questions John’s partner, Chuck. He learns that after John and Chuck’s company went public last year the stock went down. There is a $20 million "key man" insurance policy on John’s life and Angela inherits John’s company stock.

Angela is determined to find the killer and insists that Hank help her. Ashcroft continues to pressure Angela. Hank, Chuck, and Laura reassure Angela that everything will be okay. Petra suspects Angela and threatens to expose Angela’s affair with Hank.

Angela believes Chuck killed John for the insurance. Hank becomes suspicious of Angela. A stalker lurks outside Angela’s house at night and sneaks into the house. Angela calls 911. The police arrive but find no one.

Angela and Hank search the house for any clues which might explain who would want to kill John and why. They examine a hidden computer disk which shows records John kept of Chuck embezzling money from the company—and a love note to Petra, which proclaims his love and his awareness that Angela was cheating on him. Now they have a motive to draw suspicion away from Angela.

Angela accuses Petra directly of having an affair with John. She says she’s going to give it to the police. She picks up the phone but Hank rips the cord out of the wall. Angela sees that Petra’s husband Allan is in on it. Allan pulls a gun on Angela and demands the disc.

But Angela escapes into the hills near her house. Hunted by her closest friends, will she live long enough to clear her name and reveal the truth?
